X (the movie)

Reimagine the later almost-all-fighting episodes of Dragonball Z, with Japanese gothic style animation, a bishounen hero and anti-hero, some Clamp-style women with impossibly long hair, and a tragic story-line, with lots of destruction of modern Tokyo thrown in, and you have X (the movie).

Lots of gore, with even gorier dream sequences thrown in for good (or bad) measure. Not one for the kids.

A rent don't buy, and only rent it if you're in the odd sort of mood I was in when I picked it up: you specifically want something with gothic style animation, and only want a feature-length movie.
